Stewart L Beckford assumed duty as the 6th Commissioner, Jamaica Fire Brigade on December 28, 2018 after most recently serving as the Acting Deputy Commissioner incharged of the Operations Branch. He has held multiple command and staff positions in eight sections/departments and special assignments throughout the last 29 years.

Deputy Commissioner Warren Malcolm hails from the Parish of Trelawny and is a proud product of the William Knibb Memorial High School; he joined the Jamaica Fire Brigade in 1990. Deputy Commissioner Kevin Haughton joined the Jamaica Fire Brigade in December 1996. From the inception, he was resolute in making this profession into a lifelong career. His love for the profession served as the primary source of motivation that resulted in his ascendance through the various ranks, earning him the position of one of three second highest officers of the Jamaica Fire Brigade – Deputy Commissioner.

Deputy Commissioner Sean Orlando Martin, Officer in charge of Core Technical & Support Service, joined the St Thomas Division of the Jamaica Fire Brigade in 1997. Over the period July 1997 to March 2005, he served the St Thomas and Training division respectively in various positions and was transferred to Fire Prevention Headquarters. His most recent appointment was to the position of Deputy Commissioner in charge of Core Technical & Support Service

With over 17 years in the Jamaica Fire Brigade, Assistant Commissioner Andrew Russell took the helm as the officer in charge of Area III on June 3, 2019. Assistant Commissioner Russell became interested in the Fire Brigade right out of high school and became a Firefighter in the St. Elizabeth Division. He began his firefighting career at the Junction Fire Station on July 07, 2002.

Assistant Commissioner Julian Lethaine Davis-Buckle hails from the central parish of Manchester in Jamaica. On her path to a career in teaching with her eyes on becoming a physical education practitioner, fate intervened and the opportunity to serve her country in another capacity – the Jamaica Fire Brigade presented itself. She persevered and on December 17, 1995 graduated and became an enlisted firefighter to the Jamaica Fire Brigade.

Assistant Commissioner Alaric Hacker joined the Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) in 1995. He began his journey in active firefighting in the Kingston and St. Andrew Division and was subsequently reassigned to the Communication Department where he served for just over two years and was then transferred to the St James Division.

Assistant Commissioner Rudolph Seaton has dedicated over 30 years of distinguished service to the Jamaica Fire Brigade, where he presently serves as the Officer In Charge (OIC) of Area Four. A career firefighter and committed leader, he has built his life and career on the principles of service, integrity, and faith.
