Over the past 150 years, the Jamaica Fire Brigade has continually evolved to meet the dynamic needs and challenges of our citizens – serving with the utmost care and proficiency. Our aim is to be as efficient as possible in our efforts to stabilize emergency incidents, prevent the outbreaks of fires and conserving the properties of our citizens.

Since our inception, the Jamaica Fire Brigade has been unwavering in its priorities of providing professional, high-quality, efficient responses in the areas of firefighting, emergency medical services, technical rescues, along with fire prevention initiatives and public education.

The success of this organization is indisputably attributed to the exceptional men and women who serve within our ranks, and who continue to display unwavering commitment to excellence, as well as our dedicated administrative team who continues to be the pillar that provides the background support required to keep the organization afloat.

Throughout our history, we have faced numerous fires, natural disasters, other emergencies and challenges but they were met with dedicated spirits and a persistent pursuit of excellence. It is the bravery, dedication, and sense of duty demonstrated by our firefighters that have earned the trust and respect of our fellow citizens.
